Program Description
COURSE PLAN
Program Period:
January 16 - February 2, 2024（3 weeks）
9:00 AM – 11:45 AM(Beijing Time), Monday to Friday
★Remark: January 15 will be the registration day, instruction starts on January 16.
Chinese Language Center is located in the center of Shanghai, and all winter courses will be conducted on the West Yan‘an Road campus.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
Chinese Classes:
Focus on enhancing your oral expressive abilities, combined with grammar explanation and topic discussion. A maximum of 10 levels will be open, including Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. You will be placed on the right level based on the online placement test result. (At least 8 students for each class).
Cultural Lecture / Workshops:
Introduce China's customs and culture in diverse formats, such as Chinese character culture, Chinese cuisine, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese traditional medicine culture, and making Chinese knots, etc.
Language Practice:
You will leave the classroom, finish the assignments given by the teacher in the real scenes, such as super mall. These assignments will let you communicate with Chinese on the site, which will improve your communication skills efficiently.
COURSE COMPLETION
After finishing the program and passing all the evaluations, you will receive the course completion certificate to enhance your CV.
Textbooks:
Self-compiled textbooks "Chinese in Real Life" with online supplementary learning materials.
Class arrangement:
You will take a placement test to evaluate your Chinese level and will be assigned to the right class based on the test result.
In the first week, you are allowed to change the class level within a specific timeframe.
